What’s on the 2025 bingo card?

Back in March 2024, we launched with a simple mission: to create a safe, supportive space for people living with BPD and C-PTSD. Looking back, it’s incredible to see how much we’ve achieved in such a short time.

BBPDC Highlights of 2024

BBPDC Launch: We hosted our very first peer support group in March, and over the year we've held an incredible 37 sessions!

Community Impact: We've had the honour of connecting with over 60 amazing peers through our weekly group

Fundraising Success: We’ve raised an incredible £6,500 since our launch! A heartfelt thank you to our friends at the Ella Rose Fund for being our biggest supporters and helping make our first year so impactful

Milestone Achievement: On December 6th, we proudly became a registered CIC, officially solidifying our charitable status

New Connections: We’ve finally launched our Instagram account! Follow us at @bpd_collective for regular meeting updates, news, and resource sharing

Looking Ahead: Plans for 2025

Building on this momentum, we’re excited to announce our plans for 2025, shaped by the voices of our peers and our commitment to sustained growth. Here’s what’s in store:

Expanding Access and Reach:

  • Increased weekly sessions to include two in-person and two online, supporting 40 unique peers weekly.

  • Broader community engagement through digital platforms and awareness events.

Strengthening Our Team:

  • Recruitment and training of more facilitators/volunteers to help us deliver support

New Initiatives:

  • Launch of skills-based and creative workshops to empower both peers and families.

  • Collaborative events with other grassroots community groups.

  • Guest speakers, podcast appearances, and radio broadcasts to amplify our mission.

Ensuring Sustainability:

  • To continue growing and meeting the rising demand, we aim to secure more funding to support the project, host workshops to generate income, and move into a coworking space to provide additional classes and resources.
