Our funding & commitments 2024/2025
We cannot really put into words how humbled and grateful we are to our supporters at the Ella Rose Fund, who gave an incredible £4600 Catalyst Grant to the BBPDC to finance the project’s first year. We were truly blown away by this generosity, and we can’t thank the Ella Rose family enough for believing in the BBPDC, and giving us such a huge opportunity to grow our beautiful community.
The BBPDC also received an amazing £936.36 from our charity partnership with Wiper and True - thank you so so much!
We have big ambitions for the BBPDC, and with these donations we can make our goals a reality 🩶
We’ve achieved so much since we launched our peer support in March - so wanted to share with you what we’ve done so far, and what we’ve got planned for the rest of the year!
Our Ongoing Commitments:
🩶 Facilitate engaging and ethical peer support, with regular review meetings and collaborate on session plans
🩶 Develop, update and review policy, contracts and training to align with BBPDC vision and values
🩶 Solicit feedback from peers and our wider community, to constantly improve the way we deliver support
🩶 To keep our website up-to-date with meeting schedules, signposting and resources, as well as 2 email campaigns and one blog-post per month
🩶 Create and maintain good relationships with other organisations, and connect peers with external support where possible

Q1: April-May-June 2024:
✓ Establish Group
✓ Appoint trustees & formalise constitution
✓ Launch first awareness campaign, community fundraiser and social
✓ Develop financials for 2024/2025
✓ Launch Engagement Survey
✓ Begin applications for funding/sponsorship for 2024/2025
Q2: July-August-September 2024:
✓ Appoint monthly Clinical Supervisors for Jade & Maddie
✓ Begin planning for second awareness campaign
✓ Plan in official training for all BBPDC Facilitators & trainees
• Launch 2nd group
Q3: October-November-December 2024:
• Plan in 3 creative collaborations with other charitable organisations
• Recruit 2 trainee facilitators
• Launch second awareness campaign, community fundraiser and social
Q4: January-February-March 2025:
• Finalise BBPDC policy package (V1), training & infrastructure
• Apply for CIC status
• Review our first year and set goals for 2025/26
• Review financials for 2024/25 and prepare grant applications for 2025/26
